Chicken Pecan Salad Croissants

4 c. cubed, cooked chicken
1 c. seedless grapes
1 c. pecan pieces
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. honey
Pepper, to taste

Combine chicken, grapes and pecans in large bowl; set aside. In small bowl, stir together mayonnaise, sour cream, honey, and pepper in to blend well. Add to chicken mixture. This chicken salad can be served on other types of bread, but for fancy tea parties, it's best served on flaky croissants.

Cream Cheese and Cucumber Sandwiches for Tea Party

  • Bread - white has a nice presentation, but any bread can be used.)
  • Cream Cheese, softened
  • Cucumber - thinly sliced

Spread cream cheese on each slice of bread. Add cucumber slices in one layer for sandwich. You can lightly salt the cucumber if you like before assembling sandwich.

Cut the crusts from each slice of bread. Cut sandwiches in half and then in half again.
